SunSmart E-Shelters
Project
Zager Global, Inc. recently completed 10 separate solar PV installations with battery backup capabilities for the SunSmart E-Shelters Project. Each system consists of 42 SolarWorld SW-240 panels for a total power output of 10kW. The system uses 3 OutBack GVFX-3648 grid-interactive inverters along with OutBack FM-80 charge controllers to enable proper charging of the batteries. The solar arrays were designed/installed to withstand hurricane force winds up to 150mph.
